It was also hit by a huge earthquake in the 1900′s and you can view some fascinating ruins that emerged from the quakes.

Holidays in Kefalonia may not have the busy feel of other Greek resorts but for many people its quaint, quiet and unspoilt nature is what makes a holiday here so special.
