Ways to save money on Greek Vacation?
My wife and I would like to Visit Greek Islands in either Spring or next Fall. Anyone know of ideas for package trips that will save us some money? We are open to either a cruise or just a multiple Island Trip (maybe Mykonos and Santorini) that could also include a stop in Turkey.
Well, I’ve been to Mykonos, and the truth is hotels and the general cost of the island can be high, but you can also find many deals that cost much less. The hotel I stayed at was called Mykonian K, and it was fairly cheap, and the hotel rooms were fine. Nothing luxurius, but they had the island feel to it, and they were fine(white, wtih balconies, blue doors, etc.)

I went in late June, and it was extremely crowded! So many people, inluding locals, and hotel managers strongly advised us not to revisit during the months of July and August, because the island gets very crowded..So spring and fall would be a good time..
Boat rides to islands are extremely cheap. Mine for Mykonos was no more than 30 euros. I would say visiting might come cheaper than a cruise.
